Baked Imitation crab stick / Baked mussel with dynamite sauce
Ingredients:
1 pack imitation crab stick
or
1 box frozen mussels
1 cup kewpie Mayonnaise (Japanese mayonnaise)
1 tbs sriracha hot sauce
1 tbs masago (smelt/orange fish roe)
2 foils lined baking sheets
Directions:
Cut imitation crab stick into bite sized pieces. Rinse defrosted mussels. Pre-heat oven 425 degrees. Prepare to lay mussels on baking sheets once drained well.
Pull meat out of shells, then replace. Repeat with remaining mussels. This makes for easier eating.
And now for the dynamite sauce:
In small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, fish roe and sriracha hot sauce. Blend well
(Use immediately or refrigerate and use within one week).
Spread sauce over each imitation crab stick or mussel.
Place mussel in hot oven, Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
